Formaldex is an AI-powered assistant service that provides personalized conversational AI with memory capabilities. The Service learns from your interactions to provide tailored responses based on your profile, preferences, and conversation history.

To use Formaldex, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

  • AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or up-to-date

6. Memory Feature

The memory feature automatically extracts and stores information from your conversations. By using this feature, you:

  • Consent to the extraction and storage of conversation data
  • Understand that memories influence future AI responses
  • Can disable this feature at any time in Settings
  • Can view, edit, or delete stored memories at any time

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Formaldex and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you create, but grant us a license to use it for providing and improving the Service.

8. Subscription and Payments

Formaldex may offer free and paid subscription tiers. For paid subscriptions:

  • Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
  • You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FORMALDEX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Formaldex and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
